Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the agentixl service (“Service”) operated by Dalae SAS (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
agentixl is a cloud-based API (MCP server) that allows AI agents to upload, parse, and explore Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm) with full-fidelity style preservation. The Service processes files on demand and returns structured data via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
2. Account and API Keys
- You must create an account to use the Service. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth (Google OAuth or magic link).
- API keys are personal and confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your key.
- We reserve the right to revoke keys that violate these Terms or exhibit abusive usage patterns.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes or to process files containing illegal content
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or authentication mechanisms
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
- Resell access to the Service without our written agreement
- Upload files designed to exploit vulnerabilities (e.g., XML bombs, zip bombs)
4. Data Handling
- Ephemeral processing: uploaded files are processed in memory and discarded. Parsed JSON is stored in an encrypted session with a 30-minute TTL.
- No training: we do not use your files to train models or for any purpose beyond providing the Service.
- Passwords: if you upload a password-protected file, the password is used in-memory for decryption and never stored.
5. Service Tiers and Billing
- Free tier: 100 tool calls and 10 uploads per month. No credit card required.
- Pro tier ($19/month): 5,000 tool calls and 500 uploads per month. Billed via Stripe.
- Unused quota does not roll over. Overages are soft-blocked (requests return HTTP 429).
- You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
6. Availability and SLA
We target high availability but do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA on the current plans. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to infrastructure issues. We will communicate planned downtime when possible.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the files you upload. We claim no ownership of your data. The Service, its code, branding, and documentation are the property of Dalae SAS.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dalae SAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a banner on the dashboard. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
