Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the agentixl service (“Service”) operated by Dalae SAS (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

agentixl lets you and your AI upload, explore, and modify spreadsheets (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm, .ods, .csv) with full-fidelity style preservation. It is offered two ways: a hosted chat on agentixl.com, and an MCP server your own AI client connects to. Uploaded files and the representations derived from them are stored on your account so your work persists between sessions.

2. Account and API Keys

  • You must create an account to use the Service. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth, with an email and password or a magic link.
  • API keys are personal and confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your key. We store only a SHA-256 hash of the key, so a lost key cannot be recovered — only revoked and replaced.
  • We reserve the right to revoke keys that violate these Terms or exhibit abusive usage patterns.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes or to process files containing illegal content
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or authentication mechanisms
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
  • Resell access to the Service without our written agreement
  • Upload files designed to exploit vulnerabilities (e.g., XML bombs, zip bombs)

4. Data Handling

  • Storage: we store your original files and the representations we derive from them, encrypted at rest, for as long as your account is active. You can delete them at any time.
  • AI processing: the hosted chat sends your questions and the relevant file content to Anthropic's API so Claude can answer. The MCP server does not: your own AI client receives the results directly.
  • No training: we do not use your files to train models or for any purpose beyond providing the Service, and our AI sub-processor does not train on API data.
  • Passwords: if you upload a password-protected file, the password is used in-memory for decryption and never stored.

5. Service Tiers and Billing

  • Free tier: 100 tool calls and 10 uploads per month, 1 GB of storage, plus 30 chat messages granted once at signup. No credit card required.
  • Pro tier ($19/month): 5,000 tool calls, 500 uploads and 1,000 chat messages per month, and 20 GB of storage. Billed via Stripe.
  • Unused monthly quota does not roll over. Overages are soft-blocked (requests return HTTP 429).
  • Storage overage: going over your storage quota is not blocked immediately. If it lasts more than 7 days, we free the stored files of your oldest conversations until you are back under the limit. We keep a SHA-256 hash of each original, so re-uploading the exact same file restores the conversation.
  • You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Access continues until the end of the billing period; after that your plan reverts to Free, including its storage quota.

6. Availability and SLA

We target high availability but do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA on the current plans. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to infrastructure issues. We will communicate planned downtime when possible.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the files you upload. We claim no ownership of your data. The Service, its code, branding, and documentation are the property of Dalae SAS.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dalae SAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a banner on the dashboard. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
